Working with Emplas Window Systems

Family-owned since 1979, Emplas have become one of the UK’s largest manufacturers of energy efficient and low maintenance windows and doors. The company has been a valued customer of Dufeu IT since 2010. One of Dufeu's recent projects for Emplas Window Systems Ltd was to help to take their backup effectiveness to a new level. Backups are a crucial part of any business, so making sure that these are working the best they can for you, and your business is so important.

A dedicated BDR server has been setup onsite, to limit the risk of the customers backup server being breached and to ensure recovery is possible in the least amount of time with minimum loss of critical data. Along with this, all onsite backups have been migrated from the customers current NAS devices to a new BDR with no downtime, and hourly offsite backups being taken which adds to the ever-increasing need for secure solutions. All new actions have given the customer the ability to restore from their backups much quicker, no matter if this is a single file/folder restore, or a full server!

To make this happen, Dufeu IT set up live demo with the customer to illustrate how to use all new features, and how to restore and boot any of their critical servers, to ensure that if the customer is ever in this situation, they have full knowledge and confidence in knowing they can backup within minutes.
