Globalscape: Secure Enterprise Data Exchange Solutions

Globalscape: Secure Enterprise Data Exchange Solutions

Data today is the lifeblood of businesses. It is critical that companies today can move their data in and out of their systems in a secure way. The businesses today do not understand how important it is to have the latest file transfer technology while in truth data movement can significantly strain infrastructure, impact compliance and on a long run cause major revenue losses. There are many Managed File Transfer (MFT) products out there to choose from to curb these issues. But no one does it better than Globalscape, a company based out of Texas.

Globalscape has pioneered in securing and automating data movement for some time now. The company was founded in 1996 and has grown with times and has adapted its data exchange solutions to the current demand. Its data exchange solutions, integration software, and cloud services are trusted by over 13,000 customers all over the world.

Unleash the power of data

Headquartered in San Antonio, Texas, Globalscape has for long helped companies leverage the power of data to gain visibility, interoperability, scalability and complete control to support their business. Globalscape has successfully managed to be a vendor who has been there for its customers to resolve data exchange issues.

One of the most recent beneficiaries of Globalscape’s expertise was the Michigan-based health benefits administrator, ASR Health Benefits. When its business expanded, the company’s data transfer requirements evolved too. ASR Health Benefits sends and receives multiple gigabytes of data from clients and vendors every day. So, downtime was not an option for them. Their IT department discovered that as their workflows grew in complexity and volume, their existing system for file transfer was no more enough to handle the load.

They found that there was a need for a centralized platform for full operational visibility and automation for complex workflows. Globalscape’s managed file transfer software, Enhanced File Transfer (EFT) Enterprise, helped ASR Health Benefits meet these requirements with enhanced data security, time savings, and HIPAA compliance.

A great workplace

Over the years, Globalscape has been one of the best places to work. The company has received many distinctions for being the best workplace in San Antonio. Why you ask? Consider this, the company provides tuition assistance, monthly appreciation lunches, weekly breakfasts, dry cleaning pickups, discounted gym memberships, and volunteering opportunities. Also, to get the employees more involved in company decisions, they introduced an initiative called Think Change in 2017 which offered the employees at Globalscape a medium to put their thoughts forward on how new ideas and programs could help the company grow.

The company is widely known in corporate circles to be among the best not just for offering competitive salaries and benefits packages to its employees, Globalscape also offers a number of programs which are aimed at helping the employees support their career, technical knowledge, and skills so that they could achieve their goals in the long term.

Globalscape’s powerful and intuitive platform has played a key role in securing data exchange for thousands of companies and the company’s dedication has helped solve even the most complex of data challenges. And owing to such contributions its client portfolio continues to grow across industries today.
