ATOM: AI Tools of Medical pave Digital Biology foundation
Biology Central Dogma is established through DNA/RNA, which guides assembling Amino Acids to create Proteins – the building blocks of any live. Protein is a molecule, which is a graph set of atoms. Graphen Medical has been focusing on solving biological challenges through fundamental research utilizing graph computing and quantum physics to better predict biological functions down to the atom level. Graphen Atom platform includes 12 tools. Most Atom tools' accuracy outperformed the best known tools in the literature, except the Protein Structure Prediction tool, which is slightly worse than the state-of-the-art but with less computational requirement.

Graphen Aica
Aica predicts car fixes by looking at sensor data as well as the error code generated by the car computer. There are about 46 sensors in the car and close to 3,000 error codes for powertrain, which makes it a totally of 17 billion combinations of error codes and sensors - a huge challenge to correlate to car fixes. The conditions of a car can also vary based on engines, manufactures, mileage date, and etc., which make the prediction of car repair extremely difficult with traditional methods. Combining advanced Machine Learning and Baysian Network, Graphen Aica is capable of analyzing all 17 billion combinations of error codes with high accuracy. Graphen's system successfully achieved the prediction accuracy far beyond expectations. Built with advanced AI to perform advanced tasks including Massive Data Cleaning and Crawling, Domain Knowledge Graph Analytics, Machine Learning, Deep Learning, Bayesian Network, etc., the system keeps self-improving. The technology is proven to be ideal and effective for establishing solutions to enter a new market or apply to the ever growing new car models.
About | Dr. Ching-Yung Lin
Dr. Ching-Yung Lin is the CEO of Graphen. Before June 2017, he was Chief Scientist for Graph Computing at IBM and an IBM Distinguished Researcher. He created and led the Network Science and Machine Intelligence department at IBM T. J. Watson Research Center. He is also an Adjunct Professor at Columbia University since 2005, an Affiliate Professor at the University of Washington from 2003 to 2009 and an Adjunct Professor at NYU in 2014.
Dr. Lin was named an IEEE Fellow in Nov 2011, the first in the area of Network Science. He is an author of 170+ publications and 29 awarded patents.
