Q. What is your business roadmap?

My roadmap aligns its efforts and resources toward achieving its goals, as well as communicate its vision and plans to stakeholders such as our customers, and employees. It also serves as a guide for decision-making, flexibility and prioritization of initiative.

Some examples of my common business competencies include:

Q. What is your disaster recovery/business continuity plan?

Risk assessment: Identifying potential risks and vulnerabilities that could impact the company’s operations, data, or systems. Response and recovery.

Response and recovery procedures: Outlining procedures and protocols for responding to a disaster or disruptive event, including backup and restoration of critical data and systems.

Communication and notification Establishing communication protocols to ensure that employees, customers, and stakeholders are informed and updated about the status of operations during and after a disaster.

Alternative work arrangements Identifying backup facilities, equipment, and other resources that can be used to enable employees to work remotely or in alternative locations.

Q. How will they improve your company’s efficiency?

Streamline processes: One way to improve efficiency is to streamline processes by eliminating unnecessary steps or automating repetitive tasks. This can help reduce the time and resources needed to complete a task and improve overall productivity.

Q. What have some of the company challenges been over the years? What are some of the key takeaways from these challenges?

The Covid/Pandemic was a big challenge as it was for many other businesses and we adapted by delivering Covid safety solutions to the workplace, such as heat detection cameras to office receptions.

Q. How are you different from your competitors?

I have established strong relationships with my clients and this is through investing my time in learning about their businesses, goals and challenges and then creating and adapting our offering accordingly. Every business has its own unique requirements and it is vital that we work with a tailored approach. This has resulted in us winning repeat business.

With more than two decades of experience in numerous roles, including service delivery, technical support, ITIL, IT Service Management and IT strategy, Parmi Lally, Director of Hot Spring IT is an IT aficionado when it comes to IT relocations and startups. Parmi has worked as an IT consultant in New York City, City of London and more recently in Paris under the name Hot Spring IT. 7 years ago, an opportunity was presented to Parmi by a finance organization, an old acquaintance that sought his assistance to relocate their IT setup from New York to London. Parmi instantly organized a team to cover all the client’s IT requirements and successfully completed the project within the specified timescales. Following this success, Parmi wanted to lend his hand to other organizations, which led him to found Hot Spring IT. Thereby, the firm started consulting companies in London, extending its roots and gaining notable clients through recommendations and commendations, hoisting the flag of success along the way.
