Back then HydroJug learned that developing hard goods is very difficult and costly early on. The original product had some quality defects. For example, they had problems with the seals in the lid leaking, HydroJug had to upgrade the seals in the lid due to this leaking. Once they had the upgraded seals they sent them out to each of their customers at the expense of the company to fix this issue.
HydroJug was able to gather feedback from their customers and fix those defects quickly because they were on a small scale. From the very beginning the company’s top priority was delivering quality products in order to make sure their consumers were happy and making sure they were taken care of.
In the beginning there was a lot of pushback which is probably very normal. HydroJug would set tables up at local gyms and go to Fitness Expos to get its product out there. People would take a look at the water jug and say it was too big, or they could never drink that much water, etc. After a few years with strategic marketing HydroJug has made it very normal to carry a “big” water bottle and drink that much water.
It has become a trend now and people love talking about hydration. Drinking enough water has become a trending topic in society and HydroJug is at the center of the conversation.

They are going to create colors and prints that haven’t been seen on your typical water bottles to create exciting experiences for their customers.
