iCRYO offers professional franchise opportunity in the NEW cryotherapy and iV infusion industry

Standing in a subzero cold chamber at around -150F might seem like an off path to health. But the trend, which goes by the name of cryotherapy, is becoming increasingly popular.

Whole Body Cryotherapy was originated in Japan in the late 70s. The first chambers were designed to treat rheumatoid arthritis and fibromyalgia. The main benefit from cryotherapy is to reduce inflammation throughout the entire body. This can help with physical recovery as well as mental recovery.

We introduce you to iCRYO which offers an affordable, convenient, and professional franchise opportunity in the NEW cryotherapy and iV infusion industry.

History of iCRYO and humble beginnings of iCRYO: In May of 2015 Kyle Jones had a vision to create a business that would focus on recovery and wellness. He developed a passion for helping others recover from debilitating surgeries and accidents while he was working on his Physical Therapy degree. His passion and vision were the spark that created the brand “iCRYO” and started a movement in the health and wellness industries across the U.S. Kyle shared his vision with father “Bill Jones” and together they developed a business plan for opening 1 location in a Houston suburb, “League City” Texas. They collaborated for several months about the design concept and flow of this new business and in July 2015 a completed architectural design was agreed upon. A few weeks later they broke ground on the first iCRYO and completed construction on September 22, 2015.

On October 3, 2015, iCRYO opened for business and took off relatively well for a new concept and new business. In just a few months Bill and Kyle started having grander visions of scaling this new concept and opening locations all over the U.S. While Kyle devoted all his time to building up the business and managing the daily activities, Bill focused on the financial side of the business and together they created another business plan to expand and grow the brand. After several months of collaborating, they decided to launch the business plan to scale through franchising. In January 2017 the first corporate office was formed, and two employees were hired. On September 11, 2017, their first franchise disclosure documents were filed, and in 2018 they awarded 7 franchise licenses in two states.

2019 was a year of rapid growth and expansion awarding 67 additional franchise licenses throughout 6 states. Year over year revenues tripled in 2019 and again in 2020 landing iCRYO in the top 900 fastest growing business in the U.S. 2020 was again a huge year of growth opening 8 locations in 4 states and tripling the corporate infrastructure. 19 additional franchise licenses awarded in 3 states bringing our total company units to 93.

2021, iCRYO goes international and has shown hyper growth through October with 346% growth in revenues over 2020 and awarding 165 additional franchise licenses in 16 states and Canada. 12 additional opened in 2021, with a total number of units sold at 258 and 22 total open units.

iCRYO offers a unique franchise program for those who serve our community called the iCRYO American Hero Franchise Program. It is a concept developed by CO-Founder & CEO Bill Jones with the idea of giving back to the Veteran and First Responder communities and providing opportunities to be mentored in business and entrepreneurship while starting and owning a small business.

“iCRYO offers a variety of services including Cryotherapy, iV Therapy, Infrared Sauna, Photobio modulation, and Compression Therapy that are medically proven to reduce inflammation throughout your body.”

In the following conversation Bill Jones, CEO and Co-Founder and Kyle Jones, COO and Co-founder explicated about the company

Q. What is lacking in the cryotherapy industry? How are you making way in filling the void?

One of the biggest issues in the cryotherapy industry is lack of knowledge to the Guest and lack of training from the employees giving the services. In iCRYO, majority of our marketing efforts are geared around education of our services and bringing high quality systems to each location that ensures a safe and comfortable experience for all our guests. We were the first company to organize and format a legitimate cryotherapy training and certification platform. Since inception, that platform has now be enhanced to encompass all our services. Every employee for iCRYO must pass that exam in order to become fully employed and handle guests that walk in the door to receive services.

Q. What is Whole Body Cryotherapy, how does it work and what is the necessity of it?

Whole body cryotherapy is used to treatment the reduction of inflammation in the entire body. It is a full walk-in chamber that the guest spends roughly 3 minutes inside of at around -150F. Unlike ice, the dry cold provides a cold but comfortable feeling during the session. The cold ambient air inside of the chamber is decreasing the skin temperature, not the body’s core temperatures, which stimulates the Vagus nerve. The vagus nerve is the largest central communication tool in the body. It transfers data from the brain to the rest of the body. When stimulating the Vagus nerve, your body registers one of two responses. You either activate the sympathetic nervous system in a “fight or flight” mode which is the response that happens when you wake up in the morning. It’s telling your body to be awake and alert. It gives you a good endorphin release along with some other mental clarity and energy qualities. Or you activate the parasympathetic nervous systems in a “rest or digest” mode which enables your body and mind to relax and shut down to be in a resting state. The reduction of inflammation can help with various things from a mental and physical standpoint. Stress, anxiety, depression, focus, soreness, injury, skin disorders, anti-aging qualities and many other things are connected to inflammation. Whole body cryotherapy is truly a non-invasive total wellness modality. Every person walking the planet harnesses some level of inflammation. Therefore, we can treat almost anyone and everyone with the exception of a few contraindications. This modality can be used at almost any age and not just for humans. Many animals over the years have been treated with whole body cryotherapy to recover from exercise, sports events, and injuries.

Q. What is Photobiomodulation and how does it work?

hotobiomodulation Therapy (PBM Therapy) utilizes light wavelengths that stimulate tissues and damaged cells to regenerate, accelerating the body’s own natural healing process through photo-bio-stimulation. PBM Therapy is the absorption of very specific parameters of light to tissues that are sick, injured or degenerating, resulting in accelerated rate and quality of tissue repair and reduced pain. It is non-invasive, non-toxic and has no negative side effects. PBM has been shown to possess superior healing and pain-relieving effects compared to other electrotherapeutic therapies for example ultrasound. This is especially true in connection with chronic ailments and in the early stages of an acute injury. PBM is a non-invasive and drug-free method of treatment for muscles, tendons, ligaments, connective tissue, bones, nerves, and skin.

Q. What are your target markets and all the services you offer in an iCRYO Center?

Our business model has an array of recovery and wellness services. We tied in many modalities that target 4 main categories of Pain & Inflammation, Beauty & Anti-Aging, Sports performance, and General Health & Wellness. We offer Whole body cryotherapy, Localized cryotherapy, Cryo facials, Infrared Saunas, PBM Therapy, Zerobody Dry Float Therapy, Compression therapy, IV Infusions, Vitamin injection, and body sculpting.
