Interlogic Outsourcing, Inc: Leaders in payroll and employer services

IOI is the successor to Interlogic Systems, Inc. (ISI), a company that Najeeb A. Khan established in 1987. When the company first opened its doors, there were about 10 employees sharing a small office space in downtown Elkhart, Indiana. The payroll technology, at the time, consisted of key-to-disk systems - and each day, someone had to drive over and hour away to process client transactions. Today, payroll is maintained through IOI’s secure, cloud-based software, IOIPay®, and can be processed from anywhere in the world!

Under Mr. Khan’s leadership, IOI has grown from a local operation to one of the nation’s leading Human Capital Management providers with 10 locations nationally and services clients’ employees in all 50 states. For the last 30 years, IOI’s award winning customer service team has followed the philosophy of “exceeding client expectations” and their development of new technology makes it easier for their clients to do business.

IOI has the infrastructure in place to give its clients the customer service response they need. IOI’s clients get a live person when they call so the company can service its clients quickly and efficiently. The company serves a range of industries including not-for-profit organizations, manufacturing, education, health care, financial institutions, restaurants and hospitality service sectors.

“Our main focus is to enable technology for our clients, while maintaining a personal touch by having a knowledgeable customer service representative who can help. As time goes on, we are getting fewer phone calls, but we are still staffed with support to help clients who cannot find the answer to their problem in the technology. A high level of customer service is really the important differentiator and something that is positively reviewed by many of our customers,” says Mr. Khan.

Offering scalable solutions, IOI enables businesses of all sizes to achieve greater efficiencies. With technical expertise and an unparalleled level of customer service, IOI maintains a high client retention rate by managing each step of the on boarding process, from implementation to training, lending maximum performance to payroll, time and labor management, and human resources services.

Managing a workforce is vital to a company’s success; the responsibilities of the payroll and HR employees provide multiple touch points within the software being used to manage a workforce. This could include applicant tracking & onboarding, time and labor management, benefits enrollment, FMLA, COBRA, performance management to name a few. Industry leaders want to know how these tasks can be simplified, while motivating their employees for increased production. In order to assist their customers, IOI offers a comprehensive suite of human resources management and payroll solutions such as:

  • Job Posting

IOI has been recognized by its peers as a national leader in the payroll industry for the last four years. In 2017, IOI was awarded the Bronze Award for Best Online Payroll Services by Top Ten REVIEWS. Satisfied clients like the Catholic Diocese of Charlotte, North Carolina, also recognize IOI. “We have been extremely pleased with IOI for their high level of service, live responses and quick turn-around time,” says Chief Financial Officer, Bill Weldon. “The application is user-friendly, and by partnering with IOI, we have been able to automate a number of payroll related processes; such as our 403-B match computation and other

assessments that are functions of payroll.”

Critical reasons companies choose to outsource are: compliance, cost savings and efficiency in managing the data of their most expensive asset – their employees. IOI offers customers all of these things in a comprehensive solution. Offering customers peace of mind, IOI handles processing all of the details involved with payroll from tax filings, benefit accruals, medical deductions, and much more. Considering what a per-pay cost would be if payroll was performed in-house (salary, time involved, materials involved, etc.) beyond managing the compliance, it really becomes obvious that outsourcing makes the best business sense.

Recently, IOI released a 2.0 version of their software providing an advanced Benefits Management platform and an innovative new Single Sign-On Dashboard, giving users a simple way to access IOI’s platform. Additional enhancements, including a new employee self-service portal along with new product offerings, will continue to ensure IOI’s place as a leader in the Human Capital Management industry for many years to come.
