Richard is Co-Founder, President, and CEO of Mesh Systems. Prior, he was Co-Founder and CTO of Pensar Corporation, a diversified electronics design and manufacturing services company. At Pensar, Richard architected and managed the Company’s technology strategy, intellectual property portfolio, and engineering workforce. He served as Senior VP of Global Design Services for SMTC Corporation (Toronto, ON), a global electronics manufacturing services (EMS) company, following SMTC’s acquisition of Pensar in 2000.

Richard has more than 40 years of diverse experience in high technology software, services and manufacturing businesses. He is recognized as an IoT pioneer and technical expert in sensors, wireless communications, and embedded networking. Richard holds 11 U.S. patents and is a 1982 graduate of Purdue University, where he received his B.S. in Electrical Engineering.
