MicroTech is a  Minority-Owned and Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business (SDVOSB) that is afforded special status based on established Federal Government programs. MicroTech has also obtained Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned and Minority-Owned status with the State of Virginia and Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned status with the states of New York, and Ohio. We interviewed Anthony “Tony” R. Jimenez, the CEO of MicroTech, to learn more about the company. Here are few excerpts from the interview:

Q. How did MicroTech get started? How has it transformed over the years, and how has the company thrived?

Founded in 2004, MicroTech grew from a kitchen table startup into a profitable and highly respected company with skilled professionals in more than 40 states supporting more than 100 prime contracts throughout the Federal Government and providing Managed Services, Information Technology, Network, Cybersecurity, and Telecom support to numerous Fortune 500 companies around the globe.

As a systems and technology integrator with more than 17 years in the Government space, MicroTech has served as a Prime Contractor of more than 2,000  Federal contracts. MicroTech holds more than 30 Government wide Acquisition Contracts (GWACs) and Indefinite Delivery/Indefinite Quantity Contracts (IDIQs). The company has a proven track record of delivering the right solution to clients, including the Department of Defense (DOD), Department of Veteran Affairs (VA), Department of Homeland Security (DHS), Department of Justice (DOJ), Social Security Administration (SSA), General Service Administration (GSA), Department of Transportation (DOT) and other key Government Agencies and Fortune 500 Enterprises.

Q. What leasing and financial services does MicroTech offer?

About the CEO

Anthony “Tony” R. Jimenez is the award-winning Founder, Chairman, and Chief Executive Officer of MicroTech, one of the largest and most respected Hispanic-owned IT Integrators in the nation. Tony is a Retired Army Officer and a Service-Disabled Veteran with more than 24 years of Active Military Service and has served as an Appointee in both the Bush and Obama administrations.

In 2014, 2015, and 2018 Jimenez sold several large business units, and since then, MicroTech has been recertified as a Small Business (SB) by the SBA as well as recertified and verified as a Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business (SDVOSB) by the US Department of Veteran Affairs.
