Engagio can be of great help!
Traditional demand generation is outdated in B2B magazine today. Account Based Marketing which is also abbreviated as ABM applies time-tested B2B marketing and sales principles to the challenge of selling to businesses by targeting company accounts rather than individual leads.
ABM builds hyper-personalized interactions, way better and specific in comparison to traditional marketing—that enable Sales and Marketing teams to land more accounts and expand existing ones, even in the most complex sales environments.
A vision for the future
The organization strongly believes in 1-to-1 future and says that marketing and sales should not be endorsing wrong products that are incapable of delivering results. It’s about using intelligence to help connect people to products and services that add value to their lives, and doing so in a relevant and useful way. This is the reason why it is important to use the right technology to aid this powerful go-to-market strategy.
ABM is high-speed
With the amount of information at your fingertips and the advancement in technology, you can get your ABM program up and running faster than ever before. Engagio built a platform to help you execute a successful ABM strategy.

Case study to prove virtuosity
Vyond’s mission is to put the power of video in the hands of everyone. Vyond allows people of all skill levels in all industries and job roles to create dynamic and powerful media. With features that go beyond moving text and images, you can build character-driven stories or compelling data visualizations that engage audiences and deliver results.
Vyond historically had served individuals and small businesses and had realized continued strong growth. Despite this success, the company believed that step function growth was possible if they were to move upmarket and bring their easy to use video capabilities to larger organizations. The company began their pursuit of this strategy by launching a small sales team supported by sales development reps and focused on enterprise.
They initially attempted to run ABM programs out of their existing marketing automation system but quickly realized that wouldn’t work since marketing automation is lead centric. It didn’t build alignment across sales and standard marketing tactics were falling short. Vyond needed something different if they were to truly expand beyond a direct to consumer model.
The COO made a strategic decision to have an ABM focused team leader that would define the strategy, identify the required technology, develop programs and partner with sales. Rebecah Wiegardt was brought in as head of ABM to lead this effort.
They considered a number of options but found that Engagio offered the only ABM platform to comprehensively address all of these. Once the product was rolled out, everybody on the revenue team had access to the same data and view. They were no longer counterproductively working from different information sets. Engagio allowed the team to start speaking a common language: Engagement.
For Vyond, one of the biggest wins was the ability to wrap their arms around inbound from target accounts successfully. In the past, these inbounds were treated no differently than any other inbound request. Now they are immediately recognized as an ABM target account. That inbound notification triggers a Play with a task to get started. Daily work using Engagio is very different than simply using tasks in another system. There are more accountability and visibility with Engagio. Managers can view activities and take action. If somebody is struggling, now they can proactively be helped. It’s very prescriptive and planned out. Now the team lives in Engagio 24/7 - it’s their comprehensive ABM platform and they use it to report critical metrics on Plays, meetings created, account progression and revenue created to the C-level.
Plaudits to the man who made it happen!
