The Valiant Leader behind Pomeroy's Success

Bob Watts is Pomeroy’s Chief Executive Officer and member of the Board of Directors. With decades of leadership experience in the technology industry, Bob is responsible for the overall strategic direction and growth of Pomeroy. He brings over 25 years’ experience in business management with cybersecurity, software and technology services companies including organizations in a wide range of industries and governmental agencies worldwide. His track record reflects that of a hands-on executive with great vision and attentiveness to business operations, and a solid record of building shareholder value, high performance cultures, and transformational results.

Prior to joining Pomeroy as Chief Information Officer in 2020, Bob was CEO of Greater Cincinnati-based cybersecurity firm, Vivitec, a company he founded to provide cybersecurity services to organizations and in the process becoming nationally recognized as a cybersecurity leader. Previous to Vivitec he held executive positions at MicroStrategy, Parametric Technology, and Texas Instruments. Bob began his career as an U.S. Army Aviation officer with a strong belief in service to his country and his community.

Mr. Watts holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering from the United States Military Academy at West Point and a Masters of Business degree in Organizational Management from the University of California.
