By exploring innovative solutions combining technology and services, Quartet health is leading the way in mental health care access

Mental health is a massive issue in the United States, and there are shocking statistics to prove it. When we consider the fact that the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) estimates that 1 in 5 adults experience at least one mental health condition every year, it’s hard to deny that we need to be making mental health awareness more of a priority. Quartet works to change this. Quartet is a technology and services company whose mission is to improve the lives of people with mental health conditions

Quartet was founded in 2014 with one vision-One day; every person with a mental health condition will get the care they need.

Quartet strives to make this vision a reality by working towards a more comprehensive mental healthcare system where:

  • Mental health care is tied to the rest of a person’s health care.
  • People can easily find the care they’re looking for that takes their insurance.
  • People get connected to care that helps them feel their best.
  • People continue to go back throughout their lifetimes based on their different needs.

Quartet does so with technology and services that reach people who need care, connect them to the proper care, track the quality of their care, and support their care journeys.

Finding the care you need

Quartet helps you find the care you need based on your needs, preferences, and insurance.

A free online platform: Quartet’s platform and services are entirely free for you to use. If you see a provider, your copay or deductible will apply.

More time for what matters: Quartet does the legwork to match you to mental health care, so you can stop looking and start feeling better.

Support along the way: Whether it’s help with your appointments or understanding your care options, Quartet’s Care Navigators are here for you at every step.

Care Options

Quartet matches you to the best mental health care option available to you based on your clinical needs, preferences, and insurance. Your chosen care option may be an in-person visit to a provider’s office, a virtual appointment from home, or a clinically-validated online experience you can access at your convenience. No one’s experience with mental health is the same – different people have different needs, not just clinically but in terms of access, too.

Getting people the mental health care they need calls for a range of mental health care options.

The following are the options suggested:

Therapy: A therapist helps you to talk through your thoughts and feelings. This may be related to handling difficult experiences, solving problems, changing behavior, or learning how to manage stress. Therapy sessions are usually offered weekly for 45-60 minutes and can either be in-person or virtual. Virtual sessions can be over the phone or video conferencing. How long you choose to attend therapy will vary depending on your individual needs and goals.

Psychiatry:  A psychiatrist is a doctor who is trained and specializes in treating mental health conditions using medication. Psychiatrists will discuss your symptoms, create a treatment plan, explain medication options, and keep track of your progress. Psychiatry appointments may be in-person or virtual, depending on the patient. Virtual sessions can be over the phone or video conferencing. First appointments may be between 45-60 minutes, and follow-up appointments are shorter and less frequent. Many people who see a psychiatrist also see a therapist.

Digital: Online programs allow you to access care wherever you are, at your convenience, and help you manage symptoms like stress, anxiety, or sadness using tools that help you change behaviors and improve your outlook. These programs are goal-oriented and can be done on your own or with the support of an optional coach. Online programs are often accessible by phone, computer, or tablet.
