Rasilient Systems – Delivering the ultimate performance and reliability through patented surveillance technology

Is your business as well-protected as it should be? Do you really know what goes on when you’re not there to see it firsthand? As a business owner you want to ensure that your investment is protected against loss from the public or from your own employees. Due to their early and late hours and sometimes short staffing, gas stations, convenience and liquor stores are often subject to more crime and violence, which is a growing concern among many of Society’s policyholders. Other businesses such as restaurants, taverns, and grocery stores experience increasing numbers of slips and falls. Having an effective video surveillance system will help deter shoplifting and employee theft, and it can also prove valuable when trying to document crimes and injury claims by customers or employees. Many of the newer digital systems allow you to review your footage from a smart phone, even if you are not onsite.

Rasilient Systems is one such company that has built solutions to optimize video surveillance. The company provides VMS agnostic purpose-built servers, storage, cloud, AI appliances, and consulting services that enable you to build the most cost-performance optimized video surveillance solutions. It understands the importance of capturing all video frames without recording gaps. By reducing causes of latency, it provides users with high-quality surveillance footage—no frames dropped (NFD)—a forensic-grade IP surveillance solution. Its NFDHybrid Cloud is a Video Surveillance Platform-as-a-Service (VS PaaS). Rasilient's subscription-based, VMS-agnostic cloud platform enables users to record their video surveillance on-site using any VMS and upload their recorded and encrypted video to an object-based, highly secure S3 compatible public cloud for longer-term storage.

Leveraging Robust Video Surveillance Services

Resilient Systems design its technologies to optimize surveillance recording performance. Its patented technologies transmit every frame of video with no recording gaps across continents, using commonly available Internet or wireless broadband services—prioritizing information integrity and guaranteeing seamless, reliable system performance. It is striking for No-Frame-Drop (NFD). And the hardware is built to be redundant, hot swappable, scalable, interoperable, and endlessly customizable to meet the unique needs of every deployment. Their services include:

NFDCloud Platform: Rasilient Systems' VMS-agnostic, open-platform video surveillance systems is ideally suited for multi-branch enterprises and designed to deliver reliability and performance—whatever the size of the deployment. Their technology supports fixed location, remote, and mobile sites. Their patent-pending unique NFDLink technology enables the use of commonly available broadband wired or wireless services to send and receive forensic-grade video recordings across continents. The system allows for video recording transmission with no quality degradation over wired and/or wireless networks with bi-directional packet loss of up to 10%. NFDStack technology implements OpenStack’s Keystone, Swift, and Horizon modules to provide authentication, authorizations, and object storage management, as well as graphic user interface for control and management. Their products are built to be administered by staff with little to no storage knowledge. The NFDCloud comes pre-loaded with all required software, saving integrators time and labor on systems configuration. Self-healing capabilities automatically repair transient drive failures without intervention by the administrator, reducing drive failure rate up to 70% and significantly cutting operational expenses, helping eliminate the risk of losing critical video. Patented AI algorithms keep track of each drive’s performance to accurately forecast the drive’s life expectancy to eliminate time consuming data rebuilding and the potential of unrecoverable loss of critical video from multi-drive failures.

Hybrid Cloud Recording Service: NFDHybrid Cloud is a VMS/VSaaS-agnostic, video-recording service to both local storage and a public cloud via NFDLink. The high-speed upload to the cloud will work over wired, cellular, or satellite Internet without compromising the recorded videos in any way. The redundant recording is further enhanced with flexible retention and PrivateLok encryption with its user-controlled encryption key. Their subscription-based pricing bundles edge NVR hardware, cybersecurity, reliable transmission, as well as secure cloud storage. The per-camera pay-as-you-go pricing model is predictable, provides flexible retention, and solves the challenges of fluctuating and daunting storage costs. Patent-pending NFDLink enables video recording transmission at throughputs tested to 700 Mbps from California to the East coast, with no dropped frames or quality degradation over wired or wireless networks. NFDLink enables the use of commonly available broadband wired or wireless services to send and receive forensic-grade video recordings, even across continents. The Cloud platforms are built and managed according to security best practices and standards, including secure network architecture, object lock, and ransomware prevention. Get unmatched reliability and performance with solutions designed for the intense demands of surveillance.

Emergency Cloud Recording: Rasilient Systems offers Emergency Cloud Recording (ECR) service as part of their advanced RMA service. ECR uses the virtual resources in the cloud to significantly reduce downtime and quickly resume video recording in the event of local storage failures. Rasilient offers ECR as part of the advanced RMA service for selected recording servers by shipping with pre-configured cloud accounts and resources. ECR is a dramatic improvement over the industry’s best RMA service, like NBD (Next Business Day), which would take days to resume video recording. With ECR, it can be minutes! If downtime is critical, but your budget is limited for expensive failover, or disaster-recovery (DR) solutions, ECR is ideal for you. It reduces the downtime from days to minutes while you are waiting for the RMA parts replacement. With ECR, the video recording switches to the cloud during an emergency. For qualified VMSes, Rasilient’s ECR App in the recording servers would switch video recording to the cloud with a single click. Drastically simplifies the recovery process during downtime.
