Riverbed – Enabling organizations to Maximize Performance and Visibility

Most companies actively invest in their IT systems to continuously increase productivity, enhance data security and expand storage capacity. All of these elements contribute to higher revenue and profits, making the business becomes efficient and streamlined. Since its inception in 2002, Riverbed has helped the world's largest organizations maximize the performance of their networks and applications so they can reach the full potential of their IT investments.

The Riverbed Network and Application Performance Platform enables organizations to visualize, optimize, accelerate and remediate the performance of any network for any application. Riverbed holistically addresses performance and visibility with best-in-class WAN optimization, network performance management, application acceleration, and enterprise-grade SD-WAN.

Riverbed Network & Application Performance Platform

To deliver the best possible outcomes for their organizations and end-users, IT teams need to be able to visualize, optimize, accelerate, and remediate the performance of any network for any application. The Riverbed Network and Application Performance Platform enables them to do just that. Comprised of best-in-class solutions, their platform ensures networks and applications operate at peak performance  – no matter how complex or distributed the IT environment.

Maximizes Performance & Visibility

Riverbed employs various technologies to help the clients maximize their performance and visibility across all services and application, like:

Application Acceleration: It ensures the fastest, most reliable SaaS delivery, cloud, and on-premises apps to users, regardless of location or network type.

Network Performance Management: It ensures service quality, network security and fully optimize hybrid IT resources with a unified NPM solution

Software-Defined WAN: Riverbed technologies helps you modernize your network with a software-defined architecture that delivers cloud-ready agility and cost savings.

WAN Optimization: It helps increase network efficiency and performance while reducing bandwidth utilization across hybrid and software-defined networks.

Fast, always-available SaaS applications

With today's on the go, global workforces that need to remain always-on, it's increasingly hard to predict each user's experience of the applications they use to stay productive. This cloud-based, fully managed service accelerates SaaS application performance by overcoming network inhibitors such as latency, congestion, and the unpredictable user experiences of today's mobile workforce.

Riverbed delivers the only cloud-based Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) acceleration service, purpose-built for today's dynamic workforce to ensure consistent performance of leading SaaS applications for anyone, anywhere, regardless of distance. A key pillar of the Riverbed Application Performance Platform, SaaS Accelerator offers end-to-end acceleration and performance measurement of leading enterprise SaaS applications, including Microsoft Office 365, Salesforce, ServiceNow, Box, Microsoft Dynamics CRM, and more - along with a built-in software-defined eCDN for great user experiences of live and on-demand video with Microsoft Teams and Stream.

Riverbed Technologies ensures easy and flexible deployment of SaaS applications. With a simple, subscription-based software license activation, SaaS Accelerator is ready in the cloud and works in conjunction with any SteelHead appliances at branch sites or Client Accelerator on workforce laptops. It does not require any changes to the SaaS provider's infrastructure. Enterprises choose which applications to accelerate based on workforce requirements.

"Whatever the pace, Riverbed can help IT teams make the transition in the most performant, cost-effective, and secure way."

SaaS Accelerator Integration with Microsoft Teams and Stream

When sharing a new corporate strategy, launching new products, or communicating, the most cost-effective and engaging way to do that is via video. Live events in Microsoft O365 applications like Microsoft Teams and Microsoft Stream enable enterprises to broadcast video and content to large online audiences. Microsoft 365 live events bring live video streaming to a new level, encouraging connection throughout the entire engagement lifecycle with attendees before, during, and after live events.

Pairing the Riverbed SaaS Accelerator Software-Defined Enterprise Content Delivery Network (eCDN) with Microsoft Teams Live Events allows your live events to reach the furthest endpoint with no network disruption. Riverbed SaaS Accelerator for Microsoft Teams and Stream seamlessly supports the demands of video-on-demand by delivering the live streaming files to the endpoints without any additional physical infrastructure, without any impact on the corporate network, and with minimal operational overhead.

And the best thing about the Riverbed SaaS Accelerator integration is that it can be running enterprise-wide in minutes, and is highly flexible, serving the needs of the largest enterprises in the world, leveraging more SaaS apps for collaboration and video. With a small amount of configuration within an enterprise, VOD and broadcast video in Microsoft O365 applications can be delivered via the Riverbed services cloud, ensuring your videos, no matter the source, are delivered to the edge, reaching your most remote employees. With the increasing number of use cases possible and the massive increase in the ability for users to self-serve video content on these platforms, market experience has shown that a company that starts to use video will see this usage grow over time. AppUnits purchased for use with other O365 applications (SharePoint, OneDrive, Office; Dynamics CRM), or non-Microsoft applications (Salesforce, ServiceNow, Box, and more) can also be easily transferred to leverage these capabilities.
