Aevice Health Pte Ltd is a Singapore-based MedTech spin-off from Nanyang Technological University at the forefront of addressing chronic respiratory disease, one of the generation’s biggest healthcare challenges. The company’s non-invasive wearable devices enable the early detection of cardiopulmonary abnormalities remotely and in real-time, so that patients can receive fast and targeted care from the ease of their homes. Clinicians can also gain insights into their patients’ health and track their responses to treatment plans easily from the Aevice analytical platform.

A Day in the Life of an AeviceMD User

Meet Dave

Dave, 48, is discharged after admission with an exacerbation of asthma. He is prescribed the AeviceMD for home monitoring.

Monitor and Manage

Dave uses the AeviceMD to monitor his asthma symptoms continuously and in real time. The App alerts him when it detects early signs of exacerbation to prompt timely intervention. This reduces adverse events.

Telehealth Consultations

Dave schedules monthly virtual consultations with his doctor from his home. He can easily share the historical data collected with his doctor through the platform, allowing the doctor to analyze his condition during the call.

Response to Treatment

By tracking the historical trends of Dave’s symptoms, the doctor can determine Dave’s response to treatment and customize his treatment plan to improve his outcome.

Birth of Aevice Health in the words of Adrian Ang, CEO

As a child, I suffered from asthma and experienced first-hand the challenges that parents had to go through. In 2016, I started Aevice Health together with Professor Ser Wee from Nanyang Technological and developed a wearable device that monitors asthma symptoms remotely and detects early sign of an exacerbation.
