30 Hottest Tech companies to watch 2019
CIO Bulletin
Communication is one of the most important and basic requirements for every organization. With recent developments in cloud computing in our tech-based and modern environment, communication platforms have become a critical component of organizational strategies. Today, we would like to explore a new source of Unified Communications as a Service (UCaaS) solutions, delivering cloud delivery mechanisms for enterprise communications. It’s CallTower- a company that delivers the world’s most advanced unified communication solutions and collaboration services.
Right from its inception in 2002, CallTower has become a leading provider of cloud-based, enterprise-class Unified Communications as a Service (UCaaS) for growing organizations worldwide. Take any communication- voice, messaging, video, conferences, mobile app, contact center, email, presence or desktop sharing- CallTower is dedicated to delivering these tools through one platform with simple ease of use.
When you open the CallTower website, you’ll see this caption: “We exist to enable people to easily connect…” Here, the “…” illustrates the open-ended nature of enabling business communication in multiple ways across any organization. The goal here is to create a connection through various tools and solutions to communicate and provide ease of use. “We want organizations to use our solutions to expand, collaborate, and effect change in unique and imaginative ways,” says the Chief Revenue Office of CallTower-William Rubio.
Revolutionizing the UCaaS Space
CallTower is in a unique position in the UCaaS Global Market. CallTower’s superior voice quality, network, international expansion, centralized order automation, support automation, geographic redundancy, Cloud/IT services, and user-friendly options make it the right communication solution for clients. CallTower also delivers business vital UCaaS features like contact center, CRM integration, call recording, CT Cloud Boost (internet optimization), fully supported device and video room solutions, and UC Analytics in over 75 countries globally. CallTower also offers a full UC Solution with Cisco Hosted UC leveraging the best of Cisco in a private cloud environment.
CallTower channels its focus on defined core values: Dedicated, Action Oriented, Smart and Inquisitive. Customer Intimacy, Reliability, and Industry Leading Technologies are the strategic anchors with which CallTower reaffirms its strategy and vision clarity. Did you know that only CallTower can deliver a complete voice-enabled Microsoft Skype for Business Solution? It’s true. CallTower delivers a solution native with Office365, requiring no third-party integrations and they also offer Direct Routing with Microsoft Teams.
CallTower is a Microsoft Gold Partner and voice enables Microsoft solutions. The Microsoft Teams Phone System powered by CallTower empowers customers to bring their current voice servers into the Microsoft Cloud through Direct Routing. Direct Routing ensures the ability to leverage CallTower’s preferred rates and unlocks the full potential of Microsoft Teams Phone System. CallTower delivers an integrated Office 365 Microsoft Teams experience with global calling plans empowered by a 24/7/365 US-based client services team, ensuring a personalized implementation, migration, adoption, and training.
Success Factors
Established in 2002, CallTower is a customer-intimate company and customer requests are always a top priority. “Our white-glove implementation delivers solid project management during onboarding,” explains William. “Every customer is empowered with live and on-demand training, an online knowledgebase for easy access to frequently asked questions, 24/7/365. There is US-based support through email, portal, online chat, and by voice, as well as a clear escalation path. We not only stand behind our geo-redundant communication solutions; our goal is to exceed the expectations of our customers continuously.”
The years 2011 and 2012 were a transition phase for CallTower, spearheaded by the Board of Directors. The company was unsure of direction from a solutions standpoint. “We were dealing with a declining customer base and significant employee exoduses,” William recalls. And in 2013, CallTower jumped back in with the launch of CallTower 2.0. CallTower reinvented itself with a clearer vision and a better focus on organizational health and delivering turn-key business communication solutions to customers. This strategic re-launch empowered CallTower to design a new direction for the entire team, as well as the customers. The result was clearly seen, as revenue growth quadrupled. Customer procurement and growth also increased, resulting in higher profit sharing with employees.
Food for thought
Here’s a piece of advice from William Rubio for budding entrepreneurs: “Spend time educating yourself on your industry and its overall market trends to empower your position as you emerge in the marketplace. In doing this, you will boost self-awareness and growth which enable you to envision additional avenues for success.”
