Krunchbox is passionate about data and enjoy finding the narrative in the data

Established almost 20 years ago by two Australian wholesalers looking to harness the power of POS data to drive sales, krunchbox has evolved into a trusted leader in retail data management. Their team has deep retail and inventory planning experience, and a commitment to quality service that is second to none.

Krunchbox goals

Simply put, Krunchbox goals are your goals. You want to improve efficiency across your supply chain? So do they. You want to figure out why sales are high in the mid-west, but not in the south? They too. You want to prove to your retailer that your products deserve more shelf space? Krunchbox will show you how.

Krunchbox approach

The retail landscape has changed dramatically since krunchbox was launched and will continue to evolve at breakneck speed. To help you thrive in this chaotic world, Krunchbox will wrangle data to help you unlock insights hidden in your retailers’ POS data to drive quicker and smarter decisions.

Getting started with krunchbox is easy

From set up to dashboard customization, troubleshooting to ongoing consultancy, Krunchbox makes it easy for you to implement krunchbox for your organization and get started making inventory decisions that maximize sales.

Onboarding process

Onboarding you as a client is easier than you think. Once the legals and commercials are put to bed, Krunchbox puts together a simple implementation plan, which starts with data discovery.

Time to completion depends on how many retailers you are onboarding, and how many years of history you have. Given the company already handles data from over 200 retailers globally every week, the chances are they are already familiar with your data formats, so onboarding can often be measured in weeks, not months.

Sign an NDA: Krunchbox knows how important and valuable your data is, so they like to get a mutual confidentiality agreement in place straight away.

Send us your data: In order to build your customized krunchbox data warehouse, Krunchbox     recommends six to eight weeks of EPOS (electronic point of sales) data from two of your retailers. Depending on your retailer, this process can take just minutes.

Add in details: In order to make your data as rich as possible for the evaluation, Krunchbox may ask you for additional information about your products.

Launch & training: Krunchbox makes an appointment to come to your office to train. This generally takes no more than 60-90 minutes, since the system is so simple to navigate and intuitive to use.

Increase sales: From your launch session, you’ll have two weeks to play with krunchbox and see for yourself just how significant your sales opportunities are, and how quickly you will be able to generate significant ROI.

Benefits to using krunchbox Data Management

Fast Access to all your data: Pulling data from all your retailers across multiple regions and timezones can be a logistics nightmare. Not for Krunchbox. They do it seamlessly and in hours, not weeks.

Making your data shine: Once the data comes in, they give it a bit of a facelift. It needs to be de-bugged, duplicated data needs to be corrected, inconsistencies need to be weeded out, and incomplete information needs to be addressed.

QA Standards you can trust: Krunchbox are experts in responding to the exceptions. Data requires constant monitoring, anticipating, benchmarking and reacting to circumstances, sometimes pre-empting is what Krunchbox knows is going to happen, and correcting the file processing before the error occurs. QA processes are rigorous because they have to be.

Seamless integration: If you need to pull cleansed and normalized Point of Sale data into your ERP System, or into a third party Business Intelligence tool, Krunchbox has you covered for that too.
