Upp: Next-level Broadband for full Fiber Network

Upp: Next-level Broadband for full Fiber Network

“Necessity is the mother of invention”, so, a group of successful British Entrepreneurs saw the poor state of the UK's broadband networks and felt the necessity of the change. They spotted an opportunity in the market in a region where no one else was focusing. Thus, Upp was born with the ambition to bring exceptional connectivity to the East of England, a proposal to use state-of-the-art technology, and a real passion to make a difference they secured a major upfront investment. Where many of the UK's existing broadband networks include copper wire Upp has done things differently and built its full-fiber network using cutting-edge fiber-optic technology.

Q. Why Upp is Reliable?

Nothing's faster than the speed of light, so, Upp use pulses of light in its next-level broadband network. Their network doesn't stop at the cabinet on a street and then uses copper wires to make the final connection to a premise rather they install fiber-optic cable for next-level speed and reliability. Upp is building for a sustainable future. They use existing ducts and structures to build their network, minimizing the need to dig or build new ones. This company is committed to sustainable working practices using local partners and employing local people. Upp builds its network for the long term using high-capacity optic lines that will serve its customers for many years to come.

This company is dedicated to support its local communities and helping them grow and thrive. As Upp design, build and support its fiber network, it is creating local jobs, both directly with Upp and through its close network of partner organizations and contractors. They also support communities in the areas they build in and offer both their time and financial support, whether it's charities, food banks, or sports teams.

Upp delivers fast and reliable home as well as business broadband. Their plan for home broadband starts at £32 per month for 12 months with a speed of 200 Mbps. It also includes free set up and installation, free WiFi 6 tri-band mesh router, and full fiber to the premises. There are two other plans for 500 Mbps and 900 Mbps speed. Their business broadband plan starts at £90(excluding VAT) for 24 months which provides a speed of 500 Mbps, and it is called business boost. This plan provides, 500Mbps upload/download speed, free WiFi 6 tri-band mesh router, full fiber to the premises, static IP address, same working day engineer site visit (if reported by 5 pm), free installation and setup, and future-proofed 10Gbps-capable line. Another plan for business broadband is called a business pro. It costs £120 (excluding VAT) per month for 24 months and provides a speed of 1000 Mbps. This plan is perfect for larger premises that need powerful WiFi coverage, data-hungry businesses with many users, seamless remote cross-team collaboration, and firms striving for a competitive advantage. This plan includes 1000Mbps upload/download speed, up to three WiFi 6 tri-band mesh routers, and everything in business boost. Upp broadband will boost a business's productivity and save valuable trading time with its full-fiber network. Unlike many providers, their upload speeds always match their download speeds, so a business always has the connectivity to get the job done. Their locally based customer service teams are on hand so if a customer needs them, they get an engineer on-site the same working day if reported before 5 pm.

Upp is serving businesses across Lincolnshire, Norfolk, and other surrounding areas with its full-fiber network. Whether taking card payments, sharing files across the cloud, or providing a guest network for customers in a business, Upp's next-level speed and low-latency lines are ready to handle everything thrown at it. Customer and business data is one the most valuable resources of a business. Upp help to protect data by providing:

  • Highly secure UK data centers and fiber cables
  • WPA2/WPA3-encrypted WiFi router
  • Professional installation

This company delivers a full-fiber connection to a business premise, which increases the reliability of the service of that business.

Thus, it can be said that Upp is building a world-class full-fiber network across towns that, historically, have only had poor internet connections. It is seen that many towns across the East of England and the East Midlands need better broadband infrastructure, so they are working hard to make it happen. It is all part of Upp’s plan to contribute to leveling up the UK’s broadband infrastructure.
