The Village Medical brand provides primary care for patients at traditional free-standing clinics, Village Medical at Walgreens co-located clinics, as well as extended access via primary care in the home and virtual visits through a proprietary technology solution.

Patients will be treated in three ways:

Clinic: Here, patients will be benefited by 24/7 availability of physicians with continuous care and better outcomes within the clinic setting.

Online visit: Experienced providers will help patients get quality care with zero need of clinic visit. Patients will be assisted via web or an app.

Home: Patients can meet experienced physicians wherever they are comfortable- preferably their homes.

Team-based: A high-impact, team-based approach supports VillageMD’s care delivery model. In its optimal model, it deploys a team of clinical experts led by physicians and supported by nurse practitioners, pharmacists, mental health specialists, and dietitians, who collectively address patient medical, mental health, and lifestyle needs to better manage patient health. Village Medical’s first full-service, primary care clinic opened at Walgreens, Houston, and since then they opened more. Village Medical at Walgreens assimilates the pharmacist as a crucial member of VillageMD’s physician-led, multi-disciplinary team.

A short background of the CEO and Co-Founder

Tim has spent his career creating and providing solutions to help providers bring a different level of care and support to their patients in a variety of experiences including running an IPA, a $3B Medicare Advantage plan, and a Population Health business. His favorite part about coming to work is spending time with the physician partners at the center of the model, and seeing where real healthcare change happens. Outside of work, you can often find Tim at one of his children’s events and enjoying time with his wife and kids.
