The Pre-Eminent Leader

Werner Kapp serves as the Chief Executive Officer Dimension Data. He started in the IT industry in the mid 90’s and joined Dimension Data in 2000, in its services division. He was responsible for the Eastern Cape, Western Cape, and Gauteng businesses respectively, achieving significant client experience, revenue, and people growth during his tenure in these roles.

In 2015, he was appointed as Chief Operating Officer for Dimension Data Middle East and Africa, with accountability for all business operations in Southern Africa, East Africa, and the Middle East. Werner has a law degree from the Nelson Mandela University in Port Elizabeth, a Master’s in Business Leadership from the UNISA School of Business and he completed the NTT Global Leadership Development Programme at IMD Business School in Lausanne, Switzerland. He is passionate about what technology can achieve for economic and social growth and loves the daily challenge of engaging clients and employees of diverse cultures across the continent.
