Yokogawa Electric and ICQ partner up for Bioreactor Systems Consulting and Engineering

As said, a Japanese electrical engineering and software company, Yokogawa Electric Corporation and ICQ Consultants, a US-based biotechnology company have entered into a strategic partnership. With this partnership, ICQ Consultants will provide consulting and engineering services and support of Yokogawa's bioreactor systems and related products in the US.

According to the company’s press release, this business collaboration will bring Yokogawa access to ICQ Consultants’ engineering and laboratory support in the biopharmaceutical market to establish its bioprocess technologies in the US. Advanced Control Bioreactor System BR1000 is Yokogawa’s first product out from the partnership. The new system will automate lab-scale mammalian cell culture with real-time monitoring and advanced process control.
