Microsoft Corp. announced the pricing for its new corporate artificial intelligence tool, costing $30 per user, per month.

According to Microsoft Corp., its latest corporate artificial intelligence tools that integrate with Office software will cost $30 per user for each month, in addition to what the majority of business customers already pay.

About 600 clients, including General Motors and Goodyear, have been participating in Microsoft's testing of Microsoft 365 Copilot, which uses both internet data and an organization's own internal data. Copilot will be available for subscription plans with monthly user costs ranging from $12.50 to $57. Copilot, which is based on technology from artificial intelligence startup OpenAI, is not yet widely accessible, according to Microsoft.

The pricing, which was revealed on Tuesday at Microsoft's partner conference, takes into account both the high demand for business AI products and their operating expenses. Scott Guthrie, the head of Microsoft's cloud and AI division, told Bloomberg Businessweek in May that he had received numerous requests for access from CEOs. The new AI products from Microsoft, according to Chief Financial Officer Amy Hood, will grow to be the software company's fastest-growing $10 billion business. However, in order to perform tasks like producing slide shows, analyzing spreadsheets, and answering questions, these services need high-end computer hardware and a lot of cloud computing power.

The stock soared after the news, rising as much as 3.8% to a record intraday high of $358.95 in New York.

Additionally, the business is introducing previously mentioned visual search capabilities in Bing Chat, which enable users to upload images, ask questions about them, and look up related information.
