Amazon.com, Inc., doing business as Amazon, is an American electronic commerce and cloud computing company based in Seattle, Washington and the company is now busy on bringing out new streaming service focusing on mobile, a recent trademark application and job ad by the company reveal.
Variety, a weekly American entertainment trade magazine and website published that Amazon applied for trademark for Amazon Fuse last month by describing it as a service which is associated to the transmission of entertainment services which comprises of audio and video content, over the internet and mobile networks. We have to wait and watch if this name is finalized; Amazon is growing partnerships with operators in other countries; it had already done one with Vodafone in India where customers got a discount on Amazon Prime.
It is said that Amazon has been hunting for partners in Europe from past 10-12 months and this seems to be a way for Amazon to grab attention from more users for its services like Prime without the users spending more money.
This was done with Sprint who was offering free Prime with the purchase of specific phone or a discounted monthly price for Prime.
