Apple is making a new move on its battery slack up issue

Apple is repaying its customers who got battery replaced which was out- of- warranty. Apple’s out-of-warranty mobile battery replacement credit includes renewal at any of the Apple’s authorized service centres dated from January 1, 2017 to January 28, 2018.

The firm promised to alert its customers about the eligibility for refunds through email. The amount repayable will be 3,900 which will be via electronic funds transfer or a credit on the credit card. You can contact Apple directly if you are eligible for refund and are not informed regarding this by the company.

If you replaced your batteries at a non-Apple approved centre then forget the chances of you getting refund. Apple iPhone 6, iPhone 6 Plus, iPhone 6s, iPhone 6s Plus, iPhone 7, iPhone 7 Plus, iPhone SE, iPhone 8, iPhone 8 Plus and iPhone X batteries come under this refund scheme.

Many consumers were agitated with the slowing down of performance in old cell phones. Many of them sued the company as a result; Apple reduced the price of batteries to the affected users by 50 from $79 to $29, available worldwide through December 2018.
