At the WWDC, Mac Pro was perhaps the biggest revelation. When the Mac Pro was unveiled everyone thought that the wait was over. But the tentative release date of the technology was said to be sometime in fall which was far away at the time. Now, the wait is finally over.
Starting today, you can order the Mac Pro and the Pro Display XDR Display. The Mac Pro starts at $5,999 and is the first major upgrade of the device since 2013. The entry-level Mac Pro comes with a 32GB memory, an octa-core Intel Xeon CPU, Radeon Pro 580X graphics, and a 256GB SSD. The 6K Pro Display XDR monitor in the meantime is priced at $4,999.
The price is far from appealing but then again Apple has never been about affordability. The mobile maker's main selling point has always centered on breakthrough technology and the Mac Pro delivers exactly that with this system. The company is looking to recommit itself to the creative professionals who have moved on to powerful Windows systems in recent times.
You can order Mac Pro and the Pro Display XDR starting today. But the company has not made any announcements on when it plans to ship the items out to the customers.
