Motorola Edge Plus now ‘Ready For’ WFH

Motorola has released its Ready For software, and it intends to help enhance your WFH experience. The new software lets the users plug the phone into a bigger screen to use it for video conferencing and create a mobile desktop on the external display.

The Ready For software hub can be used when the mobile is connected to a TV or a display via USB-C cable. A user can then connect a Bluetooth keyboard and mouse to create a traditional desktop experience. This could significantly raise your capabilities as a professional.

The possibilities are not strictly for WFH, though, as the phone could also let users explore entertainment options. For example, gamers could pair a controller with the Edge Plus and use a larger screen to play games like Fortnite.

The Ready For mode will allow users to take full advantage of the Edge Plus’ camera setup, which features a 108MP lens along with its 16MP ultra-wide sensor (could be ideal for videoconferencing).

The Ready For software will come as a part of the Android 11 update for just the Verizon Motorola Edge Plus phones. So, the software is currently just for Edge Plus. This means that the feature is only available for Verizon customers in the US.
