Google seems to test a new design layout for the Google Play Store application on mobile and notification section will be added to the proceedings. At present, this change will not be witnessed by many android owners.
To check whether the new feature is live, open the Google Play Store app, click on the menu icon in the top left-hand corner, and those part of the testing will see a new “Notifications” tab positioned just below the “My apps & games” tab at the top.
It is unsure what the new feature will offer. As of now this option has limited access. When clicking the notifications tab, the Play Store app opens a new notifications page which is currently accompanied by a “you’re all caught up” message. Of course, with this being a notification-based tab, it is expected that some form of short messages will be available and likely advising of new information regarding any and all apps the user has installed on the device.
You should keep in mind that when new notification page links to a settings page for notifications it is meant that users are getting notifications on app updates available, Google Play Store automatically updating apps, when pre-registrations become live and also when deals and promotions launch.
So, all that is new is the notification tab and the link via notifications page. Further insight on the feature is unavailable.
