Samsung launches Galaxy XCover Pro discreetly

Samsung has quietly gone ahead and introduced a good option for people who have to deal with the outdoor elements on a daily basis. The Galaxy XCover Pro is being introduced in the Finnish market soon.

The Samsung Galaxy XCover Pro is a rugged smartphone which complies with MIL-STD-810G military standards. Additionally, it is also IP68 certified. The XCover Pro is waterproof, shockproof, and has been tested to endure falls of 1.5 meters.

The phone has a 6.3-inch full-HD+ hole-punch display. The display has a glove mode that makes the screen extra sensitive to touch. It has a 4,050 mAh battery. The phone for a change comes with a removable battery which allows a user to replace the battery if needed.

The mobile is powered by Samsung Exynos 9611 octa-core processor and packs a 4GB RAM, 64GB internal capacity and supports storage expansion using a microSD card. The phone also supports 15W fast charging.


Galaxy XCover Pro has a dual-camera setup. Upfront, the phone has a 13-mp selfie camera, and at the back, the phone has a 25-mp main sensor and an 8-mp autofocus secondary sensor.

The phone has been priced at EUR 499 in Finland and will be on sale in Black color. As of now, we do not know when the phone will be launched in other markets.
