The latest release from OnePlus is making a huge statement by joining the must-have trend of 2017. While other phones are dropping off the headphone jack, OnePlus has intentionally retained it, making it another plus point on its side.
Let’s dive right into the details of the 5T. The screen is the main attraction of the new phone. Firstly, OnePlus 5T is a 6-inch OLED display that makes it slightly larger than OnePlus 5, which was 5.5-inch. The 5T has a new aspect ratio of 18:9 and a resolution of 1080 X 2160. The pixel density comes with 401 ppi that ensure the user gets crystal clear and sharp images. OnePlus has worked hard in tuning color rendering. At your first glance, you may not even be able to make out that it’s an OLED screen!
The cameras get a facelift with 5T. The company has reworked the dual cameras, where the secondary camera is completely dedicated to a low-light shooter. One can say that it’s refined and polished the cameras from the predecessor.
The phone comes with a broad range of color calibration options, including sRGB. Some of the phones that came out like Samsung S8, LG G6, Google Pixel 2 XL, iPhone X, and a couple of others have brought out the ‘elongated shape’. Looks like OnePlus 5T will also continue the trend. The phone is priced at $499.
