Adani Group stops working with China’s DragonPass, which means that members of that service will now be unable to use Adani’s airport lounges.
In a major move for the Adani Group, the company has ended its association with DragonPass, a Chinese company that helps people get airport lounge access, right away. The brief alliance, announced on May 8, allowed the companies to work together to bring better airport lounges and travel services to people at Adani-run airports across India.
DragonPass gives its members and cardholders’ better access to airport lounges and other travel benefits all around the world. The collaboration was expected to improve customers’ experience while going through check-in, security, and other steps at key Adani-managed airports in cities like Mumbai, Ahmedabad, and others. The group is also building a big airport near Navi Mumbai.
Adani Airport Holdings told customers that, starting August 17, people who use the airline lounges with DragonPass won’t be able to use them anymore. This change will not affect the airport lounge or the travel experience for other customers.
This move shows that Adani is looking to make its airport business more focused and organized as it moves forward. The decision could also fit into other company plans, as the situation between India and China is changing and becoming more complicated.
With this development, Adani keeps showing that it’s serious about giving passengers first-class airport service while still making sure it’s in control of its partnerships.
