The supervised feature in Google Wallet provides children with secure payment options and pass-storage features under parental oversight.
Google Wallet will soon release a new solution which enables children to handle their digital payments and cards under parental oversight. Google Wallet is bringing an update that enables children to securely use contactless payments in stores and store electronic passes through multiple locations across the U.S., U.K., Australia, Spain, and Poland during the following weeks.
Security is fundamental at Google Wallet because it enables parental access to manage payments and cards. A child’s payment card needs explicit parental approval to add to their account and guardians receive transaction alerts via email. The Family Link from Google allows parents to view recent transactions, erase saved funds and payment methods directly and disable pass entry features from their parent dashboard.
The system provides children secure transactions through a convenient payment platform under complete parental payment management oversight. The evolution of digital wallets lets Google expand its position in the payments & cards sector through security technology which addresses young user needs.
