Adidas consumers can now receive their online orders from the retail stores

In Adidas retail stores, the option to customize shoes is gaining appreciation from analysts. Customers who shop online can pick-up online orders in their retail stores which is excellent said Jane Hali & Associates analysts in a recent email to Retail Dive.

But, there is one negative point which is mentioned in that note is that the brand doesn't have a shoppable mobile app or an Instagram page yet, analysts remains to be focused on growth in North America.

Jane Hali said "Their list varies from celebrities to artists and micro influencers, which is an ideal way to grow their audience as they can tap into various demographics," JHA analysts noted. "They also collaborate with other brands or designers like Raf Simons, Stella McCartney, Palace Skateboards and White Mountaineering."

This is a bad news to the number one brand Nike and Under Armour, which was knocked back off the number two spot last year by adidas. Nike concentrates on speed and deeper connections with consumers and the firm wants to build strong connections with consumers in major cities.

Under Armour executives told analysts the company plans to shed about 2% of its workforce as part of a restructuring plan that followed a second quarter loss to shareholders.
