Apple has launched a new retail store in Singapore and it is breathtaking. The company’s Marina Bay Sands store is an amazing architectural feat that sits directly on the water and appears like it is floating on the popular Marina Bay. The store is Apple’s third retail outlet in Singapore.
The Apple Marina Bay Sands store is at the very least an architectural wonder that is entirely surrounded by water. The store offers a 360-degree panoramic view of Singapore and its skyline. The structure is self-supported and comprises of 114 pieces of glass and 10 vertical mullions for structural connection. The store also has an underwater boardroom which is located on the lower level of the store.
“We couldn’t be more excited to open the breathtaking Apple Marina Bay Sands in Singapore, building on our commitment to this special place that began more than 40 years ago,” said Deirdre O’Brien, Apple’s senior vice president of Retail + People.
Customers entering the Pantheon-inspired structure will be mesmerized by the sheer scale of dome which offers a magnificent view of the Marina Bay. The store will offer Apple products, accessories, and personal tech support. The team at the store will comprise of staff that collectively speaks over 23 languages.
The store is opening on September 10 at 10 a.m. SGT.
