Apple established Vanessa Trigub as VP of retail stores to handle global operations which aimed at strengthening their retail strategy and organizational leadership.
The executive reshuffling at Apple included an appointment which named Vanessa Trigub to lead retail stores and operations as vice president. Trigub previously managed Apple’s retail locations in Americas West and now leads retail heads across Europe, Middle East, Asia-Pacific and Americas East regions according to Bloomberg reporting.
Apple implements this transition as part of its organizational enhancement for retail operations. The executive leadership at Apple is now divided between Deirdre O'Brien who manages the retail division while also handling HR functions after the departure of Chief People Officer Carol Surface. Trigub's appointment will decrease Apple Retail's direct contact with O'Brien thus enabling an improved global retail strategy from the executive team.
Trigub joined Apple in 2007 after which he worked in financial, mergers, acquisitions along with retail until his appointment as retail leader. Internal sources within Apple organization show that they consider Trigub to be a candidate for replacing O'Brien who has worked with the company for three decades.
The leadership transition demonstrates Apple’s dedication to enhancing retail management procedures worldwide. Following another prominent change at Apple Mike Rockwell took over Siri leadership from John Giannandrea.
