Cheryl Kaplan, President of M. Gemi tried consulting, merchandising and buying but was not satisfied with it and wanted to do something innovative, then came M. Gemi.
Today M.Gemi is one of the elite luxury shoe brand in Italy with its products like sneakers, heels, flats, boots for a budget. The products are manufactured in Italy, constructed with any M.Gemi’s workshops which cost around $ 350.
Cheryl is making all the efforts to popularize the brand. To keep customers intact with the company, new shoe style will be introduced to the shoppers every Monday but for a limited time.
“Everything cycles through, and right now consumers are looking for experiences. ... If you don't change, you get stale. It's as simple as that,” says Kaplan.
M.Gemi has also opened a temporary shop uptown in New York at The Shops at Columbus Circle and keeps a second permanent fitting location at The Shops at Prudential Center in Boston.
Till date, the firm has bumped 447.2 million from backers including Accel Partners and General Catalyst, helping the company grow. Kaplan says that she is waiting for the right location because the location is what matters.
To bring awareness about the company a gelato truck is equipped which roams around the U.S to the hot markets. The firm keeps a fresh Instagram profile which plays a crucial role in M.Gemi’s triumph.
