Collaboration Aims to Enhance Efficiency and Innovation in Enterprise Applications
Amazon Web Services (AWS) and SAP SE have announced an expanded strategic collaboration designed to revolutionize modern cloud enterprise resource planning (ERP) experiences. This partnership focuses on integrating generative artificial intelligence (AI) to drive new capabilities and efficiencies for enterprises.
AWS, recognized as the first cloud provider certified to support the SAP portfolio, has a long-standing history of hosting SAP solutions for thousands of enterprises. The latest collaboration aims to simplify the adoption of the RISE with SAP solution on AWS, enhance the performance of SAP workloads in the cloud, and embed generative AI across business-critical applications.
Matt Garman, incoming CEO at AWS, highlighted the significance of this partnership, stating, "AWS and SAP are making it faster and easier for companies to apply generative AI to their core business data, enhancing efficiency, responsiveness, and sustainability."
Christian Klein, Chief Executive Officer of SAP SE, emphasized the importance of partnerships in driving innovation. "Collaborations like this with AWS are essential as we integrate generative AI solutions into our ERP applications, enabling customers to innovate at an accelerated pace. We are also thrilled to support Amazon in their transformation journey with RISE with SAP, particularly in pioneering projects like Project Kuiper, Amazon’s initiative to expand global broadband access."
This strategic alliance between AWS and SAP marks a significant step towards the future of cloud ERP, leveraging generative AI to offer enterprises enhanced performance and innovative capabilities.
