In order to hasten customer moves to the cloud, SAP is integrating its recently unveiled Joule AI copilot software into a brand-new top-tier 'Rise with SAP' service.
The 2023 release of SAP S/4HANA Cloud, the company's ERP application suite, was introduced on Wednesday. It is aimed at organizations and businesses with complex demands and offers increased flexibility and capability.
Additionally, the business introduced a new Premium Plus package of its Rise with SAP cloud transition software and services, which includes the Joule AI copilot, which was just recently launched by the business.
Additionally, SAP said that it is creating a new service to enable clients of Rise with SAP in upgrading to the most recent version of SAP S/4HANA Cloud.
The software industry giant's most recent actions are a part of its aggressive campaign to persuade users to switch from on-premises to cloud versions of its programs. The business has stated that its cloud software will be the sole place to access many of its most recent technological advancements, including those in sustainability and artificial intelligence.
Karl Fahrbach, Chief Partner Officer at SAP, said in a recent interview with CRN that unlike most software providers, SAP offers its software for on-premises, public cloud, and private cloud installations, as well as vendor hosting. However, he claimed that today's focus is on the cloud.
As opposed to applications running on a public cloud platform, the new SAP 4/HANA Cloud, private edition, gives customers access to a dedicated virtual private cloud that does not share any compute or data storage resources with other users.
