Google is intending to release a new application which will permit users to reply for any message from any messaging app with a tap on the notification bar. The application is ‘Reply’ which will present 3 smart options to you to respond and it will integrate different messaging applications.
Smart Reply is the similar feature available on Google’s Allo and the Android Messages app. Invites to test reply was sent by Area 120, a division of Google that works on experimental products. The application includes smart replies in the form of buttons in the notification bar. Reply will reveal time and seen in the screenshot which will be provided below.
Some other applications include ‘Do Not Disturb’ which notifies people that you cannot chat now since you are driving. The app will get your attention if you have any urgent message even if your phone is on silent mode.
The teaser of the application which is sent to tester mentions that Reply app will work in Allo, Hangouts, Whatsapp, Facebook Messenger, Android messages, Skype, Twitter DM’s and Slack. A website posted that some of the Reply’s functionality is available on Gboard, a feature of Google keyboard app.
