Microsoft Bing has been released on Xbox. The Xbox users can now search the web to discover the trending content and more from the console. Users will be able to browse videos and photos with a group of friends and view the same on a big screen.
Additionally, this debut can give gamers an option to look up the hints on games if they are stuck at a particular level. The app will also allow the user to discover the current, recommended, and trending games, videos, and news.
Microsoft Bing app has been integrated with Microsoft Rewards. This means that all the searches on the app will earn users points that can be used to redeem gift cards or donate to causes. Microsoft wrote on its blog: “We built all of the above features as native search experiences that is truly optimized for the console. It’s easy to use the app using your controller or media remote, and to search using your voice if you prefer. No need to try and use your controller as a mouse cursor!”
To install Microsoft Bing, users can go to the Store on their Xbox. The app is currently live for US users and will be launched to other markets soon.
