There’s a software revamp coming up for the Surface Book 2’s base model as Microsoft introduces the devices with Intel’s 8th Gen quad-core i5 processors. This comes out specifically for the 13-inch Surface Book 2 model. The revamped model will also include an i5-8350U that will boost the processor’s maximum speed up to 3.6GHz. Microsoft is pricing the upgraded models at $1,499.
There’s a major discount for the existing dual-core 7th Gen model, which are priced at $1,299. Apart from this, the mid-range Surface Book 2 will also include 256 GB of storage and 8GB of RAM. You might feel that the revamp includes only a major change with the processor. But it will certainly make a massive difference in boosting the performance of the mobile device.
There were already rumors surmounting that Microsoft would refresh the Surface Book 2 and the software-giant has quietly followed suit. The upcoming Microsoft Surface event in a couple of weeks will bring out announcements about the Surface Hub 2- its availability and it’s pricing. Microsoft might even update us with all the accessories and office furniture from Steelcase that’s associated with the Hub 2. It’s going to be quite exciting and we’ll keep updating you!
