PwC and ReversingLabs form a strategic alliance

To assist organisations in gaining visibility and control over their software supply chain, ReversingLabs, a company that specializes in supply chain security for the software industry, and PwC have formed a strategic relationship.

The partnership between ReversingLabs and PwC helps clients update outdated Third Party Risk Management (TPRM) processes that are unable to keep up with the complexity and interconnection of the contemporary software supply chain.

Additionally, the alliance aims to assist customers in removing manual questionnaire-based testing demanded of software suppliers and obtaining security assurance for software used solely from a binary package without access to the source code.

“Organizations have never been more reliant on their supplier base than they are today. As a result, automation is needed to help assess the risk of these relationships at speed and scale. That is particularly true as commercial software suppliers come to rely on open source code, which is increasingly exploited by malicious actors,” said Mario Vuksan, CEO and co-founder, ReversingLabs.

By this partnership, PwC will be able to improve its top-tier TPRM services and give clients the visibility they need to comprehend and lower third-party risks to their software supply chain.
