Snyk and Snowflake announce a new integration, enhancing security analytics and developer productivity through seamless data consolidation.
Leading developer security company Snyk and Snowflake have partnered to integrate Snyk Analytics with Snowflake's AI Data Cloud. Through the integration of Snyk's unique analytics with customized security contexts, this partnership seeks to close the gap between the developer, application security (AppSec), and security operations (SecOps) teams.
Through the integration, businesses can integrate Snyk's developer security insights with their own security posture data, resulting in better security measures and more informed decision-making. Snyk's CTO, Danny Allan, claims that by giving the entire organization visibility into data that is ready for analysis, the integration tackles common DevSecOps issues like segregated data. It is anticipated that this development will expedite security operations and enhance focused repair efforts.
This integration is made possible by Snowflake's secure data sharing platform, which enables enterprises to combine and visualize security insights without depending on conventional extract, transform, and load (ETL) procedures. This method is intended to increase overall productivity and visibility while saving time and money on data transportation.
The connection, which combines Snyk's security intelligence with Snowflake's AI Data Cloud, empowers AppSec executives, according to John Bland, head of cybersecurity strategy at Snowflake. Enabling quicker and more efficient action at every stage of the software development lifecycle is the aim.
