Sony and Discord have recently made an announcement that PlayStation will now have an integrated discord app for gaming-focused chat. The latest move came as a surprise to many as there were acquisition talks in the air about Discord being taken over by Microsoft. However, it looks like Sony made a better deal with Discord and has taken the edge.
