Adobe Premiere Pro features AI for media identification search and auto-caption translation, enhancing user experience and global accessibility in projects.

Adobe has rolled out two AI-powered features for Premiere Pro this week through the media intelligence panel coupled with expanded multilingual caption translation capabilities. With the beta media intelligence tool users can achieve better search results by detecting specific elements including "skateboarders" and technical features "lens flares" which override inaccurate clip labels. Search efficiency rises because the tool highlights video segments from longer clips and helps users avoid scrubbing when they need to find specific moments.

With its latest update Premiere Pro enables users to create multilingual captions through auto-captioning that supports 17 different languages directly in the app interface. Users can improve global accessibility through the new tool which converts automatically generated transcript captions into Spanish French German and Japanese.

The new updates which focus on streamlining editing processes arrived shortly before this year's Sundance Film Festival which featured Premiere Pro as the main editing application for sixty percent of participating films.
