Ascott Partners with Chelsea FC as the Team’s First-ever Official Global Hotels Partner
A leading Singapore hospitality player Ascott has sealed a strong partnership deal with Chelsea FC, a high-profile football club in England’s Premier League to boost its presence in the European market. Under this agreement, Ascott will manage the stadium hotels with 232 units situated at Stamford Bridge, the residence of Chelsea FC, from July 2024 onwards.
According to Ascott’s statement, the stadium hotels will be renamed as “lyf Stamford Bridge London” from the second half of 2025. The “lyf” concept which is spelled as ‘ life’ is Ascott’s innovation in hospitality that includes an open concept of shared spaces.
The tie-up underlines Ascott’s aggressive plan to expand in Europe and open six new properties under its ‘The Unlimited Collection’ brand. Furthermore, Ascott has ambition to add more units of the “lyf” brand in the region which the company wants to transform social and community, accommodation experiences.
