Eurostar Group, after merging with Thalys, has introduced three unified travel classes across all services. The company rebranded Thalys’ services and introduced a new rewards program, website, and app. Eurostar will provide three travel classes for all routes in the UK, France, Belgium, the Netherlands, and Germany. Bookings for Eurostar Standard, Eurostar Plus, and Eurostar Premier began on April 23, with travel starting on November 4.
Eurostar offers passengers the option to purchase food and beverages at its onboard café, but the basic price, Eurostar Standard, does not. Eurostar Plus provides additional workspace, comfortable seats, a small supper, and onboard drink service on cross-channel routes. Eurostar Premier offers flexibility, all-day boarding, lounge access, dinner service, and a designated priority lane on flights to and from the UK. The product is currently referred to as Premium on continental lines and Business Premier on cross-channel trains.
Eurostar will continue to offer free WiFi, charging ports at every seat, and no additional costs for booking a seat or bag across all travel classes. Post-booking flexibility will be provided, with free ticket changes up to one hour prior to departure for Eurostar Standard and Eurostar Plus customers. The revised after-sales adjustments will be effective on April 23. Eurostar Premier customers can modify their reservation or receive a fee-free refund up to two days after departure.
