The new virtual concierge service, RENAI By Renaissance, is set to go into test mode, as announced by Renaissance Hotels, a brand under Marriott Bonvoy.
Renaissance Hotels, a brand under Marriott Bonvoy, has revealed plans to launch a test program for RENAI By Renaissance, a new virtual concierge service. With the use of this service, visitors will be able to instantly get suggestions for restaurants, tourist destinations, and more from their cellphones. The brand's Navigator service, which links visitors with local activities suggested by hotel staff members known as Renaissance Navigators, has evolved into RENAI By Renaissance.
Artificial intelligence and human knowledge work together to power RENAI By Renaissance. RENAI By Renaissance has been taught by Renaissance navigators using their best local recommendations, denoted by an emoji of a compass. The service offers a database of hand-picked recommendations that have been verified by human navigators through the use of ChatGPT and open-source outlets.
At The Lindy Renaissance Charleston Hotel, Renaissance Dallas at Plano Legacy West Hotel, and Renaissance Nashville Downtown, guests can currently experience RENAI By Renaissance. Through the scanning of a QR code, users can text or use WhatsApp to communicate with RENAI By Renaissance.
By March 2024, Renaissance Hotels allegedly intends to have the service available at over 20 properties worldwide, following the test program. Potential future improvements to the service could involve the addition of more channels for contact and the curation of suggestions from regional tastemakers.
