Lucent Industries is looking to merge with Mobavenue Media so that the two companies could develop their foothold in the MadTech industry while reaping the accruing opportunities from an ever-expanding AdTech.
A board meeting on February 24, 2025, at Lucent Industries Limited will deliberate on the proposed merger deal of Mobavenue Media Private Limited that could lean on their AdTech and MadTech market position. The innovative AI operating system company Mobavenue Media was established in 2017 and brings to the market three AI-powered solutions called PrsmX, SurgeX DSP and ResurgeX for consumer journey transformation through awareness to retention. FY22 revenue for the company came in at Rs 35.5 crore as it jumped to Rs 98.3 crore in FY24 showing excellent growth during this time.
The proposed merger would position Lucent Technologies better at the time of new market enrolment and also, strategically place the company for the growth of digital advertising in India, where the business volume was likely to touch Rs 1.01 lakh crore by 2024. The AdTech programmatic buying segment demonstrates projected growth through a compound annual growth rate (CAGR) of 21.24% that will raise its market value to Rs 36,880 crore by 2028.
The advanced AdTech solutions of Mobavenue would help Lucent overcome operational inactivity and lack of working capital and open new business opportunities beyond its focus on vocational training. The proposed merger is deemed critical because it will help Lucent achieve financial recovery and market resurgence in AdTech operations. The industry along with investment community will follow closely the results of this arrangement.
