TCS separates AI.Cloud into two divisions, one for AI and the other for cloud, so it can focus more, grow faster and keep up with what enterprises need in technology.
Tata Consultancy Services, the biggest IT services firm in India by market value, has split its AI.Cloud division into two groups: one for artificial intelligence and the other for cloud services. The purpose is to support faster development in AI and the cloud which are now very competitive.
The AI.Cloud unit was launched in August 2023 to combine generative AI and cloud computing abilities in order to help companies gain value. Under this system, Siva Ganesan will look after AI.Cloud and Krishna Mohan will head cloud operations. Additionally, Ashok Krish will lead the AI effort for the organization and Satish Byravan will head up Data.
Officials from TCS stated that the rapid growth in AI and data activities last year was a main factor behind the company’s decision to divide. “The joining of cloud and AI is happening rapidly, but both technologies should still receive individual attention, according to the company representative.
They think that focusing on cloud and AI units will help the company aid clients who are not fully ready for AI, by giving them comprehensive digital transformation help. In addition, TCS is recruiting AI experts and revising its training for staff.
The changes introduced allow TCS to take advantage of more growth opportunities in the dynamic cloud and AI industry worldwide.
