The India launching Redmi A4 5G focuses on 5G connectivity and a sharp display, while the Redmi 14C aims for a bigger screen and smoother refresh rates.
The eagerly awaited Redmi A4 5G by Xiaomi’s subsidiary brand Redmi will be launched in India most likely tomorrow, that is, on November 20. There’s excitement across the tech world to see this new company’s cheap phone go up against the still unreleased but similarly tantalizing Redmi 14C. The two smartphones expected to retail at Rs 10,000 targeted at the majority of users who are looking for low end smartphones with better features.
Redmi A4 5G is packed with a 6.56" full HD+ display with 90Hz refresh rate for easier use. For those who want smoothness instead of resolution, there’s Redmi 14C, which is not in India yet featuring a bigger 6.88” HD+ display with a 120Hz refresh rate.
The teased smartphone comes with Snapdragon 4s Gen 2 chip and clock speed @ 2.2GHz with 5G technology. While the Redmi 14C is a MediaTek Helio G81 powered phone for doing daily tasks and light gaming. Both devices have are packing 5000mAh+ batteries, though battery life will differ between chipsets. Redmi A4 5G is more clear storage oriented device having a dual camera setup, whereas Redmi 14C has a basic camera system.
Both are thus, good performers and top examples of Xiaomi delivering a performance boasting but comparatively priced solution for the Indian market.
